The embroidered patch has held up through a dozen washes and still looks crisp, which is more than I can say for most hats I've owned. The velcro strap lets me dial in the fit exactly, so it doesn't squeeze my head on long days outdoors.
The velcro closure is a lifesaver for someone like me who's between sizes—it fits perfectly every time. I've worn it on a few hikes already and the embroidered patch hasn't budged or frayed at all.
The embroidered patch is clean and looks durable, so the design holds up fine. But the Velcro strap feels a bit flimsy and doesn't always stay as tight as I'd like during active days. It's a decent basic hat, just not the most secure fit I've had.
