The base is way sturdier than I expected for something in this category, so it stays put even when I shift around mid-session. Setup took about a minute and now I’m wondering why I didn't grab one sooner.
It does the job for hands-free positioning, though setting it up takes a bit more fiddling than I expected. The mount feels sturdy enough, but the base could be a little more stable on hard floors. Fine for the price, just not a game-changer.
